Old School Love

Found this book of repro vintage valentines at Target the other day. You know, on one of those trips where you go to get only two things (Blokus was one of them- everyone should have that game) and you end up leaving with... ahem... fifteen or some such amount. Anyway, thought these would be cool to use in some sort of seasonal decor thing so I figured for $4.99 I could buy now and figure later. Any ideas? They even have flocking on them and pieces to assemble, like petals to put on a flower for 'Loves me, Loves me not'. Clever.

I want to get some, I have to (do I ever have to?) go to Target, anyway. What about a wreath of sorts? Or a v-day tree?

Wow, that's awesome---reminds me of the Valentine boxes covered with crepe paper and glitter when I was in the fifth grade! Can you make a "garland" with these?! Very cool

I love vintage! I am a bit nervous about the way that boy seems so excited about his scissors being so near to that girls head...

(Hi by the way! I love that Facebook and blogs let us all back into eachother's lives)

They remind me of grade school. I always wanted to make real Valentine hearts with doilies and all. I don't remember if I ever did- probable only construction paper and glue, until they came out with the pre-made concoctions from the stores. I say a garland where you can see them well, so you can sit back and enjoy them.
