San Francisco/Tour of CA

Last weekend we went to San Francisco with some friends to visit old haunts, eat great food and watch some of the Tour of CA cycling race live. It's always so fun to go back.
Scott and I arrived earlier than everyone on Thursday so we rode the trolley and shopped- now tourists in our own town. Later we busted out some dancing like we were kids again. There is a venue we would see shows at, called 330 Ritch. And on every Thursday they still have 'Popscene', which hosts great bands weekly as well as indie Dj's. We took the bus and walked those dark streets, down the alley to the door smiling all the while. Saw a local band called "Love Like Fire", danced, people watched..nearly threw out a hip we were probably the oldest ones there. We didn't get back to the hotel until, um, 2am. 2AM! Pathetic, right? So fun to do that together like old times, though. We crashed and woke early the next day to meet our friends for an athletic walking tour of the town and some brunch. The rest of the weekend was filled with a lot of different adventures. Some of the deets are captioned in the slideshow, so view if it interests you. But great times with some great friends!

This week home has been filled with the usual. On Friday night we redeemed our Christmas gift to Scott's parents and went to dinner, followed by taking them to the Beatles 'LOVE' show at the Mirage.
I still have no words for this show. It is the third time we have seen it and I can't help getting emotional goosebumps! It is so absolutely amazing and that music.... agh! The Beatles made history for a reason and I've been listening to them all weekend. If you haven't see this yet, GO. It should not be missed in a lifetime.

Have a stacked week ahead, including Book Club (Finished "Catcher" and am very interested to talk about it)... then February is already OVER. Crazy.
