As I try to catch up on posts here, I came across something I didn't want to forget. During the summer when we had some spare time (Ha! Seems so foreign during the school year), the kids and I set up a make shift miniature golf course upstairs. It was certainly flawed but gave them a good few days of fun! We have this building kit which consists of sticks and plastic balls with holes that you assemble like tinker toys. We put them together for our golf clubs and used tennis balls as the golf balls. Points were awarded according where the ball landed into colored hop-scotch rings, and books were stacked to make hills, tunnels and the final hole. Great fun!
